What May holds: Hua Hin, then Pattaya
Training is back after Songkran, with two players joining the squad and two tournaments before the season ends in June.
The girls are training again after the Songkran break, and they have until the first week of June to finish the season well. Two players join the squad this month: one returning to the club, who can play either wing or centre midfield, and one new.
On 12 May we travel to Hua Hin to meet the Hua Hin Football Academy girls at True Arena for a mini tournament. They are a strong side of 11 to 15 year olds from a mix of countries, so our girls will have to play their best to come away with anything - and there may be time for the beach afterwards.
The second tournament of the month is on 27 May at Rugby International School at Wisdom Valley in Pattaya. That one is a first: U14 and nine a side, played across half of a full-size pitch, with teams coming from schools all over Thailand. Whatever the results, we will have lunch together afterwards.
If a friendly can be fitted in between the two, we will play one - three clubs have already said they are interested.
