The new squad finishes its first season
A squad rebuilt from scratch has come to the end of its first season together - and in a few months it has turned into a team.

Our new girls' squad has reached the end of its first season, and the change in a few months has been something to watch.
They learned to train together, which sounds small and is not: a group of girls who arrived from different schools knowing nobody now warms up, works and plays as one team. The trust came with it - the kind that shows up when a drill goes wrong and nobody blames anyone.
We are proud of every one of them, and grateful for the season we have had together. We also said goodbye to some players along the way. Once a Lion, always a Lion - we will be cheering for them wherever they are playing now.
Two sessions left before the summer break: Thursday 12 June, 17:00 to 18:00, and Saturday 14 June, 14:00 to 15:30. We return in mid-August, stronger and more united than we are today.
The squad is still growing, and we are looking for new players - a goalkeeper most of all. If you know a girl who would fit a team that works hard and picks each other up, send her our way.
