Lions FC Girls Football Club - Girls Football Club in Bangkok

The ground in Bang Na, and when we are on it

Twice a week, one hour, under a roof. Everything you need to plan around: the times, the address, and what to bring.

Lions FC Schedule

Monday and Thursday

17:00 - 18:00

  • 60 minutes
  • Girls aged 8-15
  • English / Thai
  • A 7-Eleven and plenty of restaurants nearby
  • Central Bangna and Big C close by
  • Free parking on site
  • Air-conditioned waiting area in the SoccerPro building
  • First session free

Training runs week to week. The club breaks for three weeks over New Year and for the whole of July and August: the families come from different countries and continents, and the breaks give them time to travel and see their own relatives.

The venue

A professional football centre on Soi Bangna-Trad 23, a few minutes from Central Bangna, with highway access and BTS and MRT lines nearby. The pitch is open-air with a roof over it, which is exactly right for the climate: training carries on through the rainy season, and the girls play out of the sun.

Safety and supervision

Sessions are run by the club's two coaches on the covered pitch at SoccerPro Bangna, out of the sun and the rain. SoccerPro staff are on site throughout, and the parents are always close by too, watching the session from the side of the pitch. If you want specifics on supervision or first aid, ask us directly - we would rather answer your question than offer a general reassurance.

Coaching

The team works with two coaches qualified by the Football Association of Thailand. Training runs in English and both coaches also speak Thai. The girls themselves speak many different languages and are always ready to help each other when something is not understood, so language is never a problem.
