A former Lion is playing for Thailand at the AFC U17 Asian Cup qualifiers
Airada Pannoppa trained at Lions FC for years. She has been called up by Thailand for the AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers.

Airada Pannoppa - Aida, to everyone here - has been called up by Thailand for the AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers.
Aida was part of Lions FC for a very long time. She came through the early squad, trained twice a week with everyone else, and played in the tournaments that made the club: she is in the side that won all three Harrow trophies in 2022/23, and the goals that settled two of those finals were hers.
Watching a player go from a Monday and Thursday session on a covered pitch in Bang Na to a national age-group squad is the best answer this club has to the question of what the training is for. It is not something we promise anybody - almost nobody takes that road, and the hour here is built for the girls who will not. But it happens, and when it does we get to be proud of it.
Congratulations, Aida. Keep working, keep believing in yourself, and enjoy every minute of it. Once a Lion, always a Lion.
