BIGFF: an international girls football festival with 45 teams

In January 2024 the Bangkok International Girls Football Festival took place in Thailand, gathering 45 teams from various South East Asian countries.

For Lions FC - a small team supported by parents’ efforts - taking part became a significant step in the club’s football journey. The tournament was not only about sport. It was a genuine adventure and an opportunity for every player to grow.

Tournaments like this offer more than a result. They are a chance to meet professional teams, share experience, and see new paths for development. Throughout the festival, parents played a significant role in preparing and supporting the team, giving up a great deal of time and energy so their daughters could take part.

BIGFF 2024 was a crucial milestone in the club’s history. It showed that teamwork, perseverance and the desire to develop are the qualities that get you past any obstacle.
