Lions FC
The story of passion and dream
Lions FC Girls was formed in January 2020 by a parent volunteer who wanted to give his daughter and her school friends an opportunity to play football. It started as a group of beginners but quickly evolved into an established club, training multiple times weekly and playing competitive matches.
Within less than three years Lions FC girls became one of the most well-established and successful girls’ teams in Thailand, winning three back-to-back prestigious tournaments in the 2022/23 season. Since they started, they have played every team they could, traveling to various away destinations, and competing in international tournaments. Lions FC girls went from being a group of beginner-level school friends to a dominant championship-winning team at the top of their game.
The ethos of the club has always been based on effort, commitment, and teamwork. This is demonstrated through how players train, how they compete in matches and the strong bond they have both on and off the pitch. Football at Lions FC is about passion for the game and commitment to each other. Players are taught to embrace these principles and to play with true spirit every time they step onto the pitch.
The club operates as a nonprofit organization, supported by a passionate fan base and parent community that help with the running of the club. The club is committed to offering opportunities for girls in the local community to play competitive football and develop as both players and people. The current team is a range of ages, with birth years from 2009 to 2012, with many girls playing above their age group.

I played for Lions FC for 4years and loved every minute of it. The Teamspirit in our Team was superb. Through the guidance of our amazing Coaches we were able to grow to one of the strongest U13 Girls Team in Thailand. As the former Captain of the Team i also learned to organize our players on the pitch and helped to distribute the tactics from our coaches and communicate with the referee. The best part was to play together with friends, travel to different locations for matches and also have fun! “1, 2, 3, Lions Fight!”
Playing with Lions FC was an incredibly enjoyable and educational experience. The positive energy from everyone, especially the coaches, made a big difference. They always pushed us hard during games and practices, which really helped us improve. I learned a lot about teamwork and picked up new techniques. Whenever we had important tournaments or games, our team stayed focused and determined to bring home a win. The skills I gained at Lions FC have definitely made me a better player.
As a mother, I am happy with my choice of Lions FC for my daughter’s football journey. I can see how she has benefited from exceptional training and technical development, as well as participating in team-building events. The club has created a positive environment where girls make meaningful connections and friendships. It warms my heart when I hear how she feels at home there. Lions FC has greatly strengthened her self-confidence! In addition, the club places great emphasis on player autonomy, promoting independent thinking and decision-making skills. This approach not only enhances their football ability but also develops valuable life skills to succeed in our daily lives.
Lions FC is the BEST girl’s football team. I love the way coaches explain the technique and skill of football together with the team’s work. Amazing for the girls to understand the importance of working in a team! The training Coaches provides is unique. It’s an environment where players can develop and be creative without the pressure of making mistakes. It is the best way to truly helped my daughter become a player with better awareness and confidence on the ball. Lions FC also provided an exciting opportunity to play in a different position and improve her skills. I have seen nothing but improvement and growth: faster running and playing with a ball, better decision-making, faster speed of play, good team view, and defiance schemes.
